The Lamb Inn: a varied excellent menu; more a restaurant than a pub; our personnal favourite, 6.5 mile away in Chinley, only 10 minutes.

Naseeb Indian Restaurant, easily the best Indian in the area and very reasonable prices.

Va Bene: Italian restaurant; good food, service can be mixed.

Peruga: traditional fine dining at affordable prices, excellent views over the country side whilst you eat. 4 miles away.

Dowds Restaurant: excellent food & service - book ahead, rated the best restaurant in Glossop.

The Globe: a vegetarian pub, good meals for less than a fiver, home brew and imports, also a music venue.
